The organization is eager to showcase different aspects of what brings people together. The rich and beautiful culture, as well as their religion, are important elements. The focus of their religion is on peace and harmony, which aligns perfectly with Bilad Al Sham’s principles. Before their launch, they successfully organized a humble Eid Celebration event that was filled with activity for all ages. Bilad Al Sham aims to continue this tradition in their future events.When not working on BASE projects, Rula Martini enjoys spending time with her family. She has three children aged 2, 8, and 9. Additionally, she is a passionate activist. Rula was born in Brooklyn, NY, but at a young age, she moved to Chicago, IL. While her exposure to the Middle East is limited, her roots make up for it. She takes pride in her ability to fluently communicate in the Arabic language.
